Moorings

Strensham Mill sits on the River Avon in the Worcestershire countryside, close enough to the M5 and M50 to reach easily and far enough from them to hear nothing but the water.

The pontoons are anti-slip, with high-rise poles and mooring rings. We have kept moorings here for more than thirty years. Some of the boats we sell come with the option of a mooring alongside.

Getting here

Mill Lane runs down to the river from the village. The marina is at the end of it.

  • By road

    Leave the M5 at junction 8, where the M50 joins. Follow signs for Strensham village, then turn into Mill Lane and carry on to the end. Satnav: WR8 9LB.

  • By water

    We are on the Lower Avon Navigation, on the stretch between Tewkesbury and Pershore, a little upstream of Strensham Lock. Call ahead before arriving by boat.

  • Nearby

    Tewkesbury is about fifteen minutes by road and Upton-upon-Severn about the same. Worcester is roughly half an hour, Stratford-upon-Avon about an hour.

Some do. A mooring at Strensham Mill can be available alongside certain boats. Ask when you call.

Can I visit and look round?
Please ring first rather than arriving unannounced. It is a working marina and a private site, and we would rather meet you properly.

Yes, we are on the Lower Avon Navigation between Tewkesbury and Pershore, a little upstream of Strensham Lock. Call ahead.
